COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST, 2019

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted for admission to the under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B. and LL.M.) of 21 National Law Universities. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2019) will be conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities, Bengaluru.

The 21 participating NLUs in the order of their establishment are

Eligibility: To be eligible to appear in CLAT-2019, a candidate should have obtained Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates), as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities. No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT- 2019.

Pattern of CLAT (Under-Graduate Programme)

Note: There shall be a system of Negative Marking wherein 0.25 marks will be deducted for each of the wrong answer.

 

Application Form: The CLAT 2019 Online Application Form will be accessible on the CLAT website (clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in) between 13th January, 2019 to 31st March, 2019 along-with the Information Brochure. No hard copy of the Application Form and Information Brochure will be sold. The candidates are first required to register themselves at the CLAT-2019 website by using personal mobile number and e-mail Id. Upon registration, an OTP will be sent to the given mobile number for validation. Once your mobile number is validated, you can login using your mobile number and the password you provided at the time of registration.

Fees

The fees to be remitted while submitting the Online Application Form of CLAT-2019 for Unreserved/OBC/PWD and other category candidates: Rs. 4000 (Non-refundable / non-adjustable) and (for SC and ST category candidates it is Rs.3500).
