MAH (BLS LL.B.) 2017

The CET Examination for 3-year LL.B. is on 21st May, 2017

Eligibility: The candidate should be a Graduate and or Post Graduate in any faculty/discipline of knowledge of any University in Maharashtra established by an act of Parliament or by the State Legislature or an equivalent National Institution recognized as a Deemed to be University or Foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an Authority competent to declare equivalence, with minimum 45% Marks in aggregate for Open Category candidates ( i.e. 45% Marks for all the parts of the Degree Examination taken together), and 40% Marks in aggregate in degree examination in all parts of the Degree 6 Examination for candidates belonging to SC and ST Category belonging to State of Maharashtra only. The Candidates who have completed 10 (SSC) +2 (HSC) Education following Regular Mode are also eligible for admission to LL.B 3 Yrs. CET 2017 provided they have completed their Graduation and or Post Graduation through Regular Mode/Open or Distance Mode.

Total Seats: Total seats available for 1st Year of BLS LL.B. (Three Year Law Course): 2 Divisions (Aided) – 160; 1 Division (Unaided) – 80. There is 50% Reservation for Reserved Categories from Maharashtra State as per the Government Resolution (G.R).

Admission: Admission must be taken by the student in person, by submitting the following documents:- Original Statement of Marks (CET Examination and State Board Result) with a certified copy; Original Caste Certificate by student intending to avail benefits of the category (mentioned in Prospectus of the Law College); Passing certificate and certified copy of a document indicating the date of birth, for example, school leaving certificate; Two recent passport size photographs. Payment can be made through demand draft drawn on “Bank of Maharashtra/State Bank of India” in favour of – “Principal, Government Law College, Mumbai”.
