ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR 2020-21
B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) (Self –Financed) Entrance Exam: 5-6-2020 (3:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
Eligibility: Passed the class XII examination in the 10 + 2 scheme or its equivalent in any discipline securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks in all the core subjects and English Language put together.
Age Criteria: Revival of age restriction under Clause 28 of Legal Education Rules 2008. (The maximum age for seeking admission into a stream of integrated Bachelor of Law degree programme, is limited to twenty years in case of general category and twenty-two in case of applicants from SC, ST and Other Backward communities.
Intake: 60 seats for B.A. LL.B. (H) and 60 seats for B.A. LL.B.(H) (Self- Financed)
Application Fee: Rs. 700/-
Admission: The Application for admission may only be submitted online at Jamia Millia Islamia’s Website www.jmicoe.in. There is no printed application form for admission. The application fee may be paid either by Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
Entrance Test: The standard of Admission Test will be of class 12 (10+2 system) of the CBSE, Delhi. The test will be of two hours’ duration with objective type questions and will cover broadly four areas, i.e., Legal Language English including Comprehension, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Legal Aptitude and Elementary Mathematics. The Entrance Test shall comprise of 150 objective/multiple choice questions of one mark each and there will be negative marking.
