ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR LL.B. 3 Years

Common Entrance Test: 25nd July, 2020 (Saturday) 10 am to 11.30 am

Eligibility:  (a) Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognized by Bar Council of India and Panjab University. (b) In case of  candidates having Bachelor’s degree of this University or any other University recognized by the Syndicate, through Modern Indian Languages Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi (Gurmukhi- script) and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit or Persian or Arabic), the aggregate of 45% marks shall be calculated by taking into account the percentage of aggregate marks that he had secured at the language examination, excluding the marks for the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together .  5% concession is admissible in eligibility marks to SC/ST/BC/PWD candidates.

CET Fee: Rs. 2175 for General category and Rs.1088 for SC/ST/PWD category.

Total Seats: 300 for LL.B. 3 Years Course at UILS, P.U., Chandigarh; 60 seats at P.U. Muktsar; 60 seats at UILS, P.U. Regional Centre, Ludhiana; and 60 seats at UILS, Swami Sarvanand Giri, P.U. Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur.

Application:  Register Online at http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in/. Note down your Login Id and Password. Download SBI Slip and pay fee in any SBI branch of India. Login and upload scanned photograph, signature, fill other important information and Save and Confirm.

Entrance Test:  The paper will consist of 100 questions of one mark each. The distribution of marks for the respective areas of Testing would be as under: General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 40 questions; Aptitude for Law: 40 questions; Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English: 20 questions. 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Total time to be allocated to this paper will be 90 minutes.

Last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Bank Challan – 06-07-2020 (Monday)

Last date for deposit of fee in any branch of State Bank of India using website generated challan – 09-07-2020 (Thursday) upto 4:00 p.m.

Last date for deposit of fee through Online mode – 09-07-2020 (Thursday)

Last date for uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website – 11-07-2020 (Saturday)

Availability of Admit Card Online Admit Card along with Time & Centre of Examination is to be downloaded from the website by the candidate using his/her own Login ID and Password provided while generating Bank Challan. The candidates will be communicated through email only for this purpose. – 14-07-2020 (Tuesday)

Candidates who have not completed their form but have paid their requisite fee, can complete their form by paying late fee of Rs. 500/- – 22-07-2020 (Wednesday)
